2014 Scholarship Pledge Drive
As we celebrate The Year of the Horse, we also celebrate the life-changing accomplishments that the children at SERT have achieved, accomplishments made possible because of your generous support.
In lieu of a 2014 fundraising dinner, we are conducting a Scholarship Pledge Drive. Funds raised will be used to proved equine-assisted therapeutic activities for children with special needs.
Special Equestrian Riding Therapy (SERT) is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Rider fees account for only a small percentage of our costs, and we make every attempt to turn no one away due to an inability to pay. Therefore, we rely on the generosity of individuals, community businesses and foundations to help us provide our very special services. We receive no government funding. Your donation is fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the children and their families.
“Horses change lives. They give our young people confidence and self-esteem. They provide peace and tranquility to troubled souls- they give us hope!”
To donate, please go to the HOW TO HELP tab listed above and click on the DONATE button.

"Slip any kid into a saddle and disabilities melt away, boundaries vanish and all things become possible each time my son takes the reins.
It's the magic that occurs, the smiles that appear, the miracles that really do happen when you put kids and horses together."
